:mib:Great Tutorial!
But my reason for addressing you is becaause im working with another vector artist putting together tutorials from other vector artists who use Macromedia Applications, specifically Freehand, Flash etc. If you would be interested in doing a tutorial for us we would apprciate it. (all credit would be yours of course)

why is is better than illustrator Ms Sarah?

I've been using illustrator a little bit lately, and i stand by Freehand being better for a number of reasons:

1. You can have multople pages. good for multipage designs, such as cd covers, brochures, pamphlets etc.
2. It is more user friendly and forgiving. Illustrator can be kinda temperamental.

ok well thats not a number of reasons but it's two.. er.. hehe

illustrator is good because it has blending modes, but that isn't the best when you're designing for print (though i've never actually tried printing it.. Freehands layer blending is pretty balls for print.

i just like freehand better. it's nice :)

"Freehands layer blending is pretty balls for print."

Is that a good thing?

Also, I noticed, you can grab colors from raster images in Freehand via the eyedropper, which I don't think you can in Ill.
